These Terms of Service apply when you purchase products from Ruffles & Raindrops through rufflesandraindrops.com.

By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

Our products

We take care to describe and photograph our products as accurately as possible. Colours, packaging and presentation may vary slightly from photographs shown online.

Some products are seasonal or handmade and individual details may vary.

If an ingredient, packaging item or decorative element becomes unavailable, we may occasionally make a reasonable substitution of similar quality and value. We will not make a significant change to an order without contacting you where appropriate.

Food and allergen information

Some of our products contain food items.

Please read the ingredient and allergen information provided with each product before ordering and again when your order is received.

If you or the intended recipient has a food allergy or intolerance, please contact us at hello@rufflesandraindrops.com before placing an order if you require further information.

Orders

When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This confirms that we have received your order.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where, for example, a product is unavailable, there has been an obvious pricing error, payment has not been authorised, or we reasonably believe an order has been placed fraudulently.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid.

Prices and payment

All prices are displayed in British Pounds (GBP).

Ruffles & Raindrops is not currently VAT registered.

Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout before you complete your purchase.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered at checkout.

Delivery

We currently deliver within the United Kingdom only.

Delivery charges and estimated delivery times are explained in our Shipping Policy and will also be shown during checkout.

Please make sure the delivery address you provide is complete and accurate.

We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, although we will always do our best to help if a delivery problem occurs.

Cancellations, returns and refunds

Your rights to cancel an order, return eligible goods and request a refund are explained in our Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy.

Certain goods may be excluded from the standard cancellation right, including products made to your specification or personalised for you, goods likely to deteriorate or expire rapidly, and certain sealed goods once opened where health or hygiene considerations apply.

These exclusions do not affect your rights if goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described. UK consumers generally have a 14-day cancellation period for eligible distance purchases.

Personalised and themed orders

Where you provide names, wording, dates, themes or other information for a personalised product, you are responsible for checking that the information you submit is correct.

Please contact us immediately if you notice a mistake. Once preparation of a personalised order has begun, it may not be possible to change or cancel it.

Intellectual property

The Ruffles & Raindrops name, branding, photographs, designs, written content and other original material on our website belong to Ruffles & Raindrops unless otherwise stated.

They may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without our permission.

Website availability

We aim to keep our website accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access at all times.

We may update products, prices, information or these Terms of Service when necessary.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.

We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.

Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. If you are a consumer elsewhere in the UK, you continue to benefit from any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
